Welcome, BMMMS is a Model Boating lake in Bury, Greater Manchester (See Directions tab). The Boating Lake will be Open on Wednesdays and Sundays. Anyone is Welcome this is a Nice day out with the kids or grandchildren Only Members will have access to the Clubhouse which has a Toilet/Sink facility and also a kitchen to Buy Brews, Chocolate biscuits and crisps, On Sundays Bacon Butty’s are available! Membership Fees are 20 quid to a new member and 15 pound a year to renew it.
Our Huge lake at bury, Not a very Nice day (winter picture). Will be updating website and pictures throughout the year. There is a numerous boats that sail on the lake, this includes: Yachts, Scale, Steam Powered, warships and Fast Electrics (far end only for Fast Electrics.) Boats have to have crystals and have to be taken off the peg board with the frequency number or Colour. If you’re a new member and aren’t sure whether your boat has a crystal ask a member at the boating lake.
